Tony Lindeque

I was born in Durban, and have lived in Botswana, Denmark, Jordan, Mozambique and now reside in Cape Town, South Africa. I am a qualified PADI Master Scuba Diving Instructor, SDI Instructor and EFR Instructor with a love for the ocean and all its creatures – but especially seahorses! After working in the motor industry for many years, I find my second career of teaching diving very rewarding. Nothing compares to the feeling of assisting a student to overcome a difficulty they have with a skill, or seeing them realise that diving is something they can do!

I am particularly interested in underwater photography and videography, and when I don’t have students to supervise I dive with my underwater video camera.

For my thoughts on scuba diving, teaching, and the underwater world, visit the Learn to Dive Today blog. There you will also find information about Cape Town dive sites, and many of the creatures that live in the oceans around Southern Africa. Scuba diving in Cape Town is incredibly rewarding, but with sometimes challenging conditions. I do my very best not to take divers out in conditions that are poor – this way you will enjoy every dive and it will become a lifelong passion.
