Something grabbed your interest? Pursue a Master Scuba Diver rating by doing some specialty courses, or just pick the one that interests you and learn more about a particular branch of this awesome sport!
Get in-depth knowledge and experience of an area of diving that interests you. If you plan to dive regularly in Cape Town, I’d suggest Deep and Enriched Air Diver as a minimum, with the addition of Wreck Diver if you enjoy exploring underwater history.
Enriched Air/Nitrox Diver
Stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. Learn how to dive using Enriched Air Nitrox, PADI’s most popular specialty course. The SDI Computer Nitrox course teaches you how to dive on enriched air with a focus on effective use of your dive computer.
Deep Diver
Explore the wonders of the deep. Learn techniques for diving down to 40 metres.
Wreck Diver
Learn how to explore mysterious sunken shipwrecks, planes and even automobiles.
Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver
Neutral buoyancy is the key to conserving your air consumption and leaving minimal impact on the aquatic environment. Learn how to achieve neutral buoyancy with ease.
Night Diver
Learn about night dive planning, equipment and navigation. Plus, see a whole new cast of critters that comes out at night. If you’re a regular Cape Town diver, the SDI Night/Limited Visibility Diving Specialty is a good fit for the kind of diving you might end up doing sometimes!
