Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a pre-requisite for Divemaster, but it’s also a fun, challenging opportunity to improve your awareness in the water and your usefulness to other divers.

As a Rescue Diver, you’ll learn to look beyond your buddy and to consider the safety of fellow divers. It’s a very rewarding way to build your confidence, both in and out of the water. You’ll be prepared to prevent and solve problems that arise on a dive, and recognise and deal with stress in other divers – both in and out of the water.

If you plan to progress on to Divemaster, you’ll need to complete Rescue first. If you’re after the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, Rescue is also required.

The Emergency First Responder course is a pre-requisite for registering as a Rescue Diver.
