The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. It qualifies you to dive anywhere in the world for the rest of your life, to 18 metres, without the assistance of an instructor.
You’ll also be able to rent or purchase scuba gear once you have this qualification.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of the following sections:
If you plan to dive in Cape Town after you qualify, you’ll get a SURG slate with illustrations and names of some of the most common marine creatures you can expect to see. You’ll also receive free dive medical cover from DAN (Divers’ Alert Network) for the duration of your Open Water course.
If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience with me, I will credit your fee towards the Open Water course fees.
